Dorothy V. Brown, 91, of Beaver Falls, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.Born April 7, 1925, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Mancuso) Laria.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Brown; her son, Richard A. Brown, and her daughter, Mary Ann Newton.She is survived by her daughters, Frances (Joseph) Leahy, Northampton, Mass., and Judith (Dr. Timothy) Sugrue of Cornwall on Hudson N.Y. Also surviving is one son-in-law, Timm Newton, Beaver Falls; one daughter-in-law, Lois Brown, Tyrone, Ga.; 15 grandchildren, Garry, Jeffrey, Gregg, Michael, Frances, Judith, Susan, Dennis, Dena, Christopher, Colleen, Timothy, Erin, Joseph, and Sean; as well as 25 great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com, www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. Prayers will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Monica, Chippewa Twp.
