Douglass Eugene Thompson Jr. 80 of Beaver Falls died Friday December 2, 2016 at Curahealth, Beaver.Born May 10, 1936 in Beaver Falls, was the son of the late Douglass Eugene Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Snyder) Thompson. Doug served as a Pa. State Constable for over 40 years. He was a former Deputy Sheriff and Patterson Twp. volunteer fireman. Lifelong member of Pa State Constables Association and other organizations throughout Beaver County. Doug loved to fish. He will be missed by many.He is survived by his son Michael (Sharon) Thompson, 2 foster sons Jerry (Nelly) Fyke and Douglas Fortner; daughters in law Anne Fortner and Patty Stewart; a brother, Ronald Thompson; many grandchildren. Great grandchildren, Akyera, Aaliyah, Adisyn, Aizlyn and Titus.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Jamie Lynn Thompson; foster son Thomas Fortner; two brothers Richard and Raymond Thompson; his companion Barbara Gossard.Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6 till time of service at 7:30 pm in the Gabauer- Lutton Funeral Home Chippewa 117 Blackhawk Roadwww.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com.
