Obituary

Elias Malichky, 92, died Friday, July 21, 2023 in the Southwest Veterans Center.

Born July 13, 1931 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Alec and Amy (Bednar) Malichky. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University College of Engineering, Elias worked as an Engineer for B & W and Gulf. He was a proud veteran of the U.S Army, where he served during the Korean War.  He was a member of St. Monica’s Roman Catholic Church of St. Augustine Parish.

He is survived by 4 sons, Paul (Janell) Malichky, John Malichky, Bill (Stephanie) Malichky and Jim (Michelle) Malichky; 7 grandchildren, Alec, Andrew, Adam, Emma, Maddie, Nick, and Benton; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Malichky; and his sister, Benigna Davidson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial Monday July 24^th, 2023 12:00 PM at St. Monica’s Roman Catholic Church of St. Augustine Parish- 116 Thorndale Dr. Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Fr. Kim Schreck will officiate.

Private burial will take place in St Mary’s Cemetery.
