Obituary

Elizabeth Louise (Crespo) Wilks, 84, of North Sewickley Twp, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2025 at Cambridge Village in Beaver Falls.

Born in Wampum on September 18, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Moran) Crespo.

Elizabeth was a member of Holy Redeemer Church of Divine Grace Parish in Ellwood City, and worked as a Custodian for the Beaver Valley School District for many years. 

Elizabeth loved spending time with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed baking, traveling, gardening, playing checkers and shuffleboard.  Elizabeth was a devoted and hardworking mother who showed her love in everyday ways – from hot home-cooked meals on the table after working all day, warm breakfasts before school,  and a voice that never stopped saying “You Can do It”!  She was her children’s biggest supporter and the Heart of their home.   

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Robert W. Wilks; her children, Randy L. (Sharon) Dixon, Tina L. (Alexander Jenkins) Smith, and Dana M. (Craig) Jacobson; her grandchildren, Kristyn M. Borkovich, Katlyn E. McNeil, Christian Dixon, and Daniel Dixon; her great grandchildren, Gerald Russell Dixon, and Finley Rose Dixon; a brother, Edward Crespo; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her twelve siblings, and first husband Charles L. Dixon.   

All services for Elizabeth were private. Arrangements were handled by the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 1133 Penn Ave New Brighton, PA 15066
