Esther Mary Cox, 82, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Providence Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Beaver Falls on March 12, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Merrill Kalish and Margaret (Oliver) Kalish.

Esther worked at Geneva College as a financial aide assistant for 50 years. Esther never met a bingo card that she didn't like. She enjoyed the gamesmanship of bingo an certainly a scratchy or two.

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald A. Cox; her daughter, Leigh Cox, both of whom are sorely missed; and her brother, Edward Kalish.

Esther will be sorely missed, and is survived,  by her daughters, Suzanne (Dale) Cable and Robin (Tom) House; her grandchildren, Kassie (Chris) Mielecki, Jourdan (Chris) Koutsavlis, Madison (Ryan Wyatt) Cable, Nicholas Ceriani, and Trae House; her great-grandchildren, Ignatius, Emilie, Leah, Logan, and Abigail; her three nieces, Debbie, Donna, and Mary Jo; and her furry best friend, Ryry. She will also be missed by her bingo friends.

All services for Esther were private.

The GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road Beaver Falls, PA 15010, was honored to care for Esther and her family during this difficult time.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and aides at Providence and Suncrest Hospice, especially Toni Smith and Jodi from Providence and Shar and Sarah from Suncrest for taking such great care of Esther. She loved her new friends she acquired at her time at Providence.
