Obituary

Ethel Marlene Market, 65, of Big Beaver, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Heritage Valley-Beaver.

Born November 18, 1955 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Ethel E. (Francis) Lindsay. 

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Edward T. Market, Jr.; two daughters, Amy Market and Linda Market; a son, Edward Allen Market; 5 grandchildren; two sisters, Ella Mae Corbin and Mary Louise Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Marlene ( as she liked to be called)  spent her life helping others , working for over 40 years as a CNA. Employers included Hastings Manor, Feltrops PCH, Brighton House, Life Management, and Beaver Valley Nursing. From time to time she also took positions as a private duty nurse.  She enjoyed bingo, crafting, The Pittsburgh Penguins, and family get togethers.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa where a service will be held on Monday at noon.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.

Afterwards, a luncheon will be held at the Big Beaver Park provided by family.
