Eugene Richard ‘Rick’ Quinn

Brighton Township

 

Eugene Richard ‘Rick’ Quinn, 74, of Brighton Township, passed away Sunday January 14 in his home. He was born May 15, 1943 in New Brighton and was the son of the late Eugene and Anne Todorczuk Quinn. Rick was raised in Conway and had lived in Brighton Township since 1971. He had worked in the Power House at ARCO Polymers in Potter Township for nearly 20 years then later as a corrections officer at the Beaver County Jail. He was a member of the New Brighton Christian Assembly Church, was a lifetime member of the NRA, an avid golfer, a big sports fan of the Pirates, Penguins, Steelers and Pitt and enjoyed his casino bus trips. Surviving him are his wife Darla, whom he married July 10, 1963, 3 daughters, Dana (Clyde) Worley, Hixson, TN, Jeanne (Jeff) Mochel, Chattanooga, TN and Jennifer (Quinn) Bayle, Erie, PA and 2 grandchildren, Todd and Rachel Worley. Friends will received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 AM by his Pastor Reverend Sam DeMarco. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery.

  1. I did not know him well but each time we saw each other he always had a smile and a greeting. Darla and him made a very special couple and I pray for comfort for his family . You were very blessed to have had him with you and loving you. Stay strong and always remember the great times spent together.
