Obituary

Eva Jo Wilson, 84, of Chippewa Township, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 in her residence with her loving family by her side.

Her family was everything to her and she maintained close connections with them. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, wit, and strength to the end. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born April 10, 1937, in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late Emmett Dale and Nancy Elizabeth (Burge) Miller.

Eva is survived by her devoted, adoring husband of 58 years, John C. “Jack” Wilson; sons, Dean (Jodi) Musser, John F. (Bobbie) Wilson, and Robbie (Laura) Wilson; daughter Renee (Nicholas) Simas; grandchildren, Dylan and Colton Musser, Michael (Paula), Megan, and Matthew Strati, Jesse (Nadine) Pomerico, Jennifer Newberry, Janelle (Andrew “A.J.”) Conner, John, Julie, Ryan, and Wyatt Wilson, and Logan Simas; great-grandchildren, Maddik, Roman, Rocco, and Lillian; brothers, Roger “Bo” (Sandra) Miller, Fred (Patricia) Miller; sisters, Marlene (Richard) Cox, Darlene (William) Bell, and sisters-in-law Darlene (Wilson) DeChellis, and Judy Miller; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Dane Musser; brothers, Robert, Glenn “Buck”, and Leonard Miller; and sister, Betty Borkovic.

  1. I remember making them a pie from their mulberry tree. I didn’t know you had to cook them and remove the stem. I just put them in the shell and baked it. I took it there and waited for their response. The look on her husband ( John) face when he chewed and the stems were in there was priceless and the words that came after. We laughed so hard we almost peed our pants. I will miss her and I miss John’s humor. Love you both
