Frank J. Puhalla

Frank J. Puhalla, 96, of Brighton Township passed away Monday January 18 in Cambridge Village, Chippewa Township. He was born February 29, 1924 in Monaca and was the son of the late William and Anna Elizabeth Olenik Puhalla. Frank retired as a group leader after 42 years at Westinghouse Electric Corporation Beaver. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul, Our Lady of the Valley Parish, an avid follower of his Pirates and Steelers and an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who called him Pap-Pap. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Eloise M. in 2003, a son Greg in November 2020, brother Leslie Puhalla and sister Cecilia Grossman. Surviving him are his son Richard (Cheryl) Puhalla, Beaver, daughter-in-law Linda Puhalla, grandchildren, Geof (Kim), Brad, Andrew and Christine Puhalla, great-grandchildren, Colin, Caitlin and Camryn Puhalla, brothers, Bill (Frankie), Rudy (Emily) and Bob (Charlene) Puhalla sisters, Rita (Lou) Piroli and Emma Maravich and 26 nieces and nephews. A Blessing Service will be celebrated Friday January 29 at 10:30 AM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and burial will be in Beaver Cemetery.
