Frederick L. Moravec, 83, of Monaca, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born on October 27, 1939, in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Francis and Barbara (Pavlinich) Moravec.

Fred attended Penn State University and worked in the storeroom at ZCA.  He was a member of the Faith Community United Methodist Church.  Fred was an avid bowler, loved to ride his bike, swim, taking trips to the beach, and going to the casino.  Most of all, Fred enjoyed quality time spent with his loving family.

He is survived by his lovely wife of nearly 59 years, Peggy (Hinerman) Moravec; his children, Lynn Teams and Raymond (Mary) Moravec; grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael (Katelin), and Jeremy (Ashley) Teams, Devon and Lindsay Moravec; his great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Caydence, Aysllynn, Luna, and Maci; his siblings, Eugene "Iggy" (Joyce) Moravec, Sister John "Tupy" Moravec, and Margie Staub; his brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Lila) Hinerman, Dennis (Susan) Hinerman, and Larry Hinerman; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his siblings, Vince, Eddie, Francis "Bunzo", Dorothy Ross, Mary Lenhult; and brothers-in-law, James, Carl,  and  Robert 'Greek"; and sister-in-law Jan.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 5 ^th from 3-7PM in the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (Branch), 340 3 ^rd Street, Beaver.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6 ^th at 11AM at the Faith Community United Methodist Church, 341 Jefferson St., Rochester with Pastor Luke Whipple officiating.

Interment, with full military honors will follow in Beaver Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fred's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
