Obituary

Gail R. Bailey, 79, Economy, formerly of Rochester and New Brighton, passed away on October 21, 2021 at home. Born in Unionville to the late Henry and Rachael (Peckens) Bailey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Bailey, siblings, Emma, Arthur, Eugene, Clayton, Raymond, William, and Dorothy. He is survived by is wife, Nancy Rose (English) Bailey, siblings, Howard Bailey, Leonard (Linda) Bailey, Shirley Caplinger, children, Anthony Welling, Scott Bailey, Cody English, who has been Gail's caregiver for the last four years, Christine (Anthony) Cipolla, Candice (Bob) Snare, grandchildren, Kasee, Kylee, Allison, Abigail, Alexandria, and numerous nephews and nieces. Gail worked as a tree cutter for Lewis Tree Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Friends will be received Sunday, 2 pm to 4 pm  and 6 pm to 8 pm, and Monday, 2 pm to 4pm and 6 pm until time of service at 7:15 pm, officiated by Ray Cashdollar, in the Todd Funeral Home, Inc., 340 Third Streets, Beaver. Interment will be private at Saint Cecilia Cemetery, Daugherty Township. The family would like to give special thanks to Concordia hospice nurses, Jessica, Renee, and Alaina, for there compassionate care.
