Obituary

Gary G. Peebles, 82, of Chippewa Township, died in the early morning hours on Friday, May 9, 2025, at PAM Health – Heritage Valley Health System, Beaver Campus.

Born on December 17, 1942, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Friend and Edna (Jones) Peebles.

Gary was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.  Following his military service, Gary was a delivery driver for UPS and had retired following 30 years of faithful service.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 38 years, Cathy (Tokos) Peebles; his children, Eric (Tabitha) Peebles, Sean Peebles, Michael Malack, and Jamie (Timothy) Davis; fifteen grandchildren, Hayden, Ava, Carter, Arianna, Colin, Kayla, Alexa, Kage, Samantha, Joey, Violet, Lillian, Jerry, Evan, and Gavin; a brother, David Peebles; many good friends and hunting buddies.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Hunt.

In accordance with his wishes, Gary will be cremated and inurnment, with military honors will be held privately at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
