George William Hogan, Jr., 73, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice – Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born on October 2, 1949, in Rochester, he was the son of the late George William, Sr. and Doris (Smith) Hogan.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Era.  George had been a sales manager for Sylvania Hills Memorial Park for several years before retiring from Friendship Ridge as an LPN.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his friends hitting the links.

He is survived by his children, Carissa (Michael) Moore and Matthew (Caroline) Hogan; his grandchildren, Blaine Moore, Marianna Moore, Sarah Moore, and Harper Hogan; a sister, Linda (Dallas) Petty; numerous extended family members and friends.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 27 ^th from 12 Noon until the time of closing words at 1PM at the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (Branch), 340 Third St., Beaver.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Upper Beaver Valley Veteran's Service Center.
