Obituary

Gregory G. “Skully” DeLuca, 74, of Patterson Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley – Beaver.
Born on January 28, 1949, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Kenneth M. and Fern M. (Wigley) DeLuca.
Skully was a current Patterson Township Commissioner; retired as the township’s road foreman, and had served as a past zoning officer. He was a past member of the Patterson Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Beaver Falls Owls Club, and the West Mayfield Vets. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam. In his free time, Skully was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary K. (Seeger) DeLuca; his sons, Gregory and Eric (Heather) DeLuca; his brother, Keith (Barbara) DeLuca; his sister, Bonnie (Carl) Goehring; four grandchildren, Rylin, Caleb, Brooklyn, and Austin; twelve nieces and nephews, Matt, Kay, Steve, Amy, Tracy, Matt, Laura, Mellissa, Megan, Sarah, Jacob, Jessica; and a host of friends.
In accordance with Skully’s wishes, he has been cremated.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 10th from 4PM-9PM at the Patterson Township Volunteer Fire Department, 319 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Skully’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
The GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., was honored to assist Skully’s family during this time.
