Hazel V. Chimley
Bridgewater

Hazel V. Chimley, 92, a resident of Bridgewater since 1959, passed away Saturday February 21 in Friendship Ridge. She was born January 5, 1923 in Dilles Bottom, OH and was the daughter of the late Charles and Alice Goudy Whitlatch.

She had owned her own beauty shop and later worked at Westinghouse Electric Corporation and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rochester.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1975 and 3 brothers and 7 sisters.

Surviving are her children, Charles (Lester Ann) Chimley, Beaver, Karen (Renaldo) Secchiutti, NJ and William (Sharron) Chimley, TN,, 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Saturday 10 to Noon and 2 until service time at 3:30 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Reverend Judith Dye of the Faith Community United Methodist Church of Rochester will officiate. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Hazel’s memory.
