Formerly of Brighton Township

 

Helen G. Goschke, 94, of Elmcroft, Chippewa passed away Thursday February 9 in Elmcroft. She was born February 7, 1923 in Three Springs, PA and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Bertha Cromwell Grissinger. Helen was a former employee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Vanport and a member of the First Christian Church of Beaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul E. Goschke in 2005 and her 4 brothers, Bob, Wayne, Sam and Jerry. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jane and John Coleman, a son, David Goschke, grandchildren, Chris (Sarah) Coleman, Kristen (Drew) Goschke, and Justin (Donna) Goschke, great-grandchildren, Anna, Makayla, Brooks and Brightley, sisters, Janie Graham, Virginia Hurd and Doris Shore, a brother Jack Grissinger and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Her pastor Reverend Robbie Manypenny will officiate. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, friends may if they wish make memorial contributions to the Circle of Christian Women c/o First Christian Church, 370 Iroquois Place, Beaver, PA 15009. The family would to thank the employees of Elmcroft and Gateway Hospice for their loving care and support.

  1. My sympathies go out to the entire family. Jane, your parents were one of the best parts of my high school years. You included me in so much and our time will never be forgotten by me. I will meet both of them again in Heaven. Thank you. I love you. Amy
