Helen R. Petruska, 86, of Patterson Twp., died Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in Heritage Valley Beaver.Born September 19, 1930, in Donora, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Kathryn (Wyrott) Bielek.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Myron Petruska; two brothers, Walter and Leo Bielek, and a sister, Mary Brayack.Surviving are a son, Dr. Myron Jay (Cindy) Petruska, Gastonia, N.C.; three daughters, Lynne (Bruce) Hill, Darlington; Natalie Petruska, Fuquay-Varina, N.C., and Bernadette Purser, Apex, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Ryan Hill, Kaitlin Petruska, Hillary Petruska, Janelle Petruska, Collin Petruska, Christian Purser and Sullivan Purser, and two great-grandchildren, Gabriella Hill and Elliott Hill.Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Twp., gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com, where prayers will be offered Friday at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. in St. Monica Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Chippewa Twp. Father Bill Schwartz will officiate.Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
