Obituary

Irene M. Mlinarich, 93, of Bridgewater, died on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Caring Heights Community Care and Rehabilitation Center, Coraopolis.

Born on July 3, 1931, in Homer City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Yancy) Mlinarich.

Irene had worked for Keystone Bakery as a wrapper for many years and had attended SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Beaver, PA.  She loved to work with her hands, garden, and be outdoors.  Irene also had a passion for sewing and loving her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Ronald) Sabol; grandchildren, David Sabol, Brandi Sabol, and Ronald (Anastasia) Sabol, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” (John) Nymick; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe, Steve, Frank, Mary, Ann, Katherine, Helen, and Gertrude.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 7th from 1PM until 4PM in the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (Branch), 340 Third Street, Beaver.  Father Joe Carr will offer a Blessing Service at 1PM in the funeral home.

Private interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
