Irene L. Toy, 94, of Beaver Falls, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley – Beaver.

Born on January 23, 1929, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Serafino and Susie (Marnicio) DiRuscia.

Irene was a member of the former St. Mary's Parish, now known as St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish and had been the manager of the Betty Gay Dress Shoppe in Beaver Falls.  Her family was most important to her and she enjoyed many precious moments spent with her granddaughters, Suzanne and Melissa.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Toy; and her siblings, Guy DiRuscia, Carl "Rock" DiRuscia, and JoAnn DiRuscia.

She is survived by her children, James (Sharron) Toy and Pamela Majors; her grandchildren, Suzanne Toy and Melissa (Robert) McCaw; her special granddog, Peggy; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In accordance with Irene's wishes, all services were held privately for her family.

Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Brighton.
