James T. Eckhardt, 92, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.

Born on March 26, 1930, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late William and Louise (Flaherty) Eckhardt.

Jim was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School and had served his professional life as a Guard for Babcock & Wilcox Company.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary A. "Nettie" Eckhardt, on December 23, 2022; his brothers, Richard, Thomas, William, and George; two sisters, Ruth and Beatrice Eckhardt; and three sisters-in-law, Marie, Betty Ann, and Martha Hegner.

He is survived by his children, Rosanne (Scott) Fairley, Gerard Eckhardt, Suzy (Rick) Plassmeyer, Lizie (Michael) Medarac, and Steve (Allen) Eckhardt; nine grandchildren, Nick (MaryBeth) Eckhardt, Sara (Jeff) Powell, Katie (Joe) Back, Alaina (Tony) Pharr, Joseph (Jamie) Fairley, Mary (Tom) Harper, Rachael (Brandon) Pauvlinch, Jennifer Medarac, Christopher Medarac; two step-grandchildren, Shawn (JoyLyn) Plassmeyer, and Shannon (Jammie) Jolly; twelve great-grandchildren, Emma, Benjamin, Jane, Samuel, Thomas, Calvin, Mya, Jameson, Simone, Grace, McCartney, Anderson, and Asher; two brothers-in-law, Leo Hegner and Ralph (Sandy) Hegner; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 10 ^th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.

Prayers will be offered in the funeral home at 9:30AM on Wednesday, January 11 ^th followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish, 116 Thorndale Dr., Beaver Falls.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
