James E. Beck, Jr., 58 of Darlington, died on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Heritage Valley – Beaver, with family by his side.

Born on April 29, 1965, he was the son of the late James Sr. and Marianne (Hugli) Beck.  He was a graduate of Blackhawk high School class of 1983.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Flo Denes; father-in-law, Ed Denes; a sister, Karen Marie Beck; a brother-in-law, Terry Denes; a sister-in-law, Sally Barnhouse; two uncles, and an aunt.

Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 29 years, Susan Beck, whom he was together with for 33 years; his puppy, Daisy; a sister, Belinda (Ron) Lonnett of North Port, FL; two nephews, Alex (Elisabeth) Lonnett, Esq. of Pittsburgh, PA and Kevin Lonnett of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters-in-law, Linda (Harold) Leech of Ellwood City, Carol (Robert) Bevivino, New Galilee, and Nancy (Pete) Hoover of Enon Valley; four brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Rachel) Davis of Industry, James Denes of Enon Valley, David Denes of Chippewa, and Josh (Shawna) Denes of Darlington Twp; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jim was a very hard worker.  He was always eager to lend a helping hand to his friends or anyone in need.  Jim was always up for a road trip and loved the ocean and sailing on the high seas.  He loved spending time with his friends and chose to live life on his terms and enjoy it to its fullest.

Friends will be received on Sunday, December 17 ^th at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., from 1PM to the time of services at 4:30PM.  Pastor Bill Anzevino of Christian Assembly Family Church will officiate.

Private inurnment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
