James H. Westerman, 66, of New Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.

Born on February 17, 1956, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Herbert James and Christine O'Dell (Flook) Westerman.

Jim was a painter throughout his professional life and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his lovely wife, Mildred (Myers) Westerman; his children, James R. (Stacy) Westerman, Justin Westerman, and Jessica (Keith) Beresic; grandchildren, Katelyn, Skylar, Sierra, and Ethan; brother-in-law, Robert Robison; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Westerman.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a son, Jason Westerman (2019); his siblings, Stephen Westerman, Donna Hiller, and Darlene Robison; and a brother-in-law, Jack Hiller.

Friends will be received on Friday, October 21 ^st , from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22 ^nd at 11 AM.  Rev. Lee Bittner will officiate.

Interment will follow in Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
