Obituary

Janice E. Corbin, 76, of Beaver Falls, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016, in Good Samaritan Hospice.Born August 30, 1939 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Audra (Eaton) Wier. Janice retired from the Pennsylvania Turnpike after 25 years of service. She loved to ride motorcycles, bowl, and listen to country music. She was a fan of Scooby Doo and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Her greatest love was her family.She is survived by her children, Earnest (Naomi) Corbin, Tempie (Robert) Cope, Mary (Jeff) Grayson, David (Marlene) Corbin, and Kelly (Vickie) Corbin; three brothers, Jack (Claudia) Wier, Tom (Sue) Wier, and Jim (Carol) Wier; three sisters, Sherry (John) Hite, Myrna McCauley, and Andrea (Dennis) Johnson; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Clarence F. Corbin; her longtime companion, Gilbert “Jack” Goff; and her son, Clarence Corbin.Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1117 Fifth Ave., Beaver Falls, www.gabauerluttonfuneralhome.com, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Michael Bailey will officiate.Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.Family requests that contributions be made in Janice’s name to the Beaver County Association for the Blind, 616 4th Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
