Jeffrey Norris Stafford
Brighton Township
Jeffrey Norris Stafford, 73, of Brighton Township, passed away Friday May 13
in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township. He was born October 23, 1942
in Reed City, MI and was the son of the late Norris and Bertha Goldammer
Stafford. Mr. Stafford had lived in Brighton Township since 1983, had
retired after 31 years as a history professor for the Community College of
Beaver County and was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of
Beaver. He was a graduate of William and Mary College, VA, had taught at
Fredericksburg High School and then Girard College, Philadelphia, before
coming to the CCBC. He had done graduate and post-graduate work at the
University of South Carolina. He was proud to have been inducted into the
A³William and Mary Olde Guarde of their MajestyA¹s Royal College in VirginiaA².
Surviving him are his wife of 27 years, Dianna Ziegler Stafford, sons,
Robert (Elizabeth) Stafford, Kennewick, WA and Peter (Jessica) Stafford,
Atlanta, GA, step-sons, Aaron (Elizabeth) Flinner, Darlington and Nathan
(Merry) Flinner, Big Beaver, 13 grandchildren and a sister Sally OA¹Brien,
Rochester MI. Friends will be received Monday from 10 until service time at
11 in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Beaver. Reverend Freda Snyder will
officiate. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery. The Todd Funeral Home,
340 Third Street is handling the arrangements. The family wants to thank the
Prendergast, Feldmeirer, Sestito and Zvonar Group, Heath South Sewickley,
the Transplant team at Allegheny General Hospital and Pastor Freda Snyder.

Samaritan Hospice.
