John Anthony Engelman,56, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in his residence.John was the son of Stella Danello and the late William Engelman. He loved working on cars. He previously worked for Morrow Motors and Preston Motors. John also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His daughter Paige was his world.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Renee Engelman ; his loving daughter, Paige; his brother, Terry (Margie) Engelman, his aunt Regina, and special aunt and uncle, Nettie and Paul Engelman; two sister-in-laws; one brother-in-law; his mother and father-in-law, Roger and Eileen Bartholomew; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Lilly and Whiley.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Sainovich, and his grandmother.Friends will be received Friday from 2p.m. to 8 p.m. in the GABAUER-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 3500 Third Ave., Koppel, www.gabauermatter funeralhome.com. where prayers will be held on Saturday at 9:20a.m. followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m at St. Monica’s -Darlington site. Father Kim Schreck will officiate.Private interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
