Obituary

John F Lyons IV, 58, of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly, Sunday, August 1, 2021, in his home.

Born September 27, 1962, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Marianne Lyons, McDonald and the late John F Lyons III. He was a graduate of Bethel Park High School, Class of 1980, and PennState University, Class of 1984. 

John loved spending time with his family and friends and was very passionate and proud of his work with Armada in Pittsburgh. 

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Robert W Beatty. Survived by his mother, Marianne Lyons of McDonald, daughters Sarah and Megan, siblings Kristen (Jawara) Love, Patrick (Marcie) Lyons, father-in-law, Robert E. Beatty of Chippewa and his fiance, Lillian (Chookie) Moore of Darlington, brother-in-law's, Keith Beatty Sr. of Beaver Falls, and Todd Beatty of Enon Valley, Sister-in-law, Jodi Beatty Przybysz and her spouse David Przybysz of Chippewa, several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

A private Memorial/Celebration of life service will be held at a later date with a private interment in Beaver Falls Cemetery.

The GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, was honored to serve John’s family.
