John Joseph Millich
Beaver

John Joseph Millich, 88, of Beaver passed away Wednesday May 27 in Friendship Ridge, Brighton Township.

He was born March 9, 1927, in Youngstown, Ohio and was the son of the late Joseph S. and Barbara Frankovich Millich. John had lived in the Beaver area for the past 14 years, was a retired mechanic for the Lindsay Corporation and had been a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Beaver. He had proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII and again in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. John enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales along with trips to area casinos. He was always grateful for the care and attention he received from the personnel of the Veteran’s Clinic in Monaca and from his physician, Dr. Timothy Jackson and his staff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Anna Vilsack Millich and a brother George Millich.

Surviving him are a brother Joseph (Elvira) Millich of Corona, CA, 3 nieces, Barbara Henard, Norco, CA, Diana Paxton, Riverside, CA and Georgette Wyrick, Corona, CA, a nephew, George Millich and an aunt, Dorothy Repasky of Youngstown, OH.

Friends will be received Saturday from Noon until service time at 3 PM at the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver. Father Michael Ruffalo of the Monaca St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

The Vietnam Veterans Association #862 Beaver County Chapter will provide full military honors for John.
