John "JD" Douglas McMasters, 61, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at the West Penn Hospital.

Born August 24, 1962, he was the son of the late Ray and Geneva (Michalik) McMasters.  JD was a man of great faith and devoted to his church, Pathway Church of Chippewa.  He retired from American Airlines with over 35 years of service in the maintenance department.  He loved to travel with his wife, attend Christian concerts, golf, and spend time with his grandkids, friends and family.

He will be truly missed by his beloved wife, Suzanne (Winn) McMasters; his step-daughter, Emily Mazar (Josh Jackson); his grandchildren, Cali and Kingston Jackson; his sister, Mary Wheeler; his brothers, Raymond (Tammy) McMasters, and Ron McMasters; his sister-in-law, Linda McMasters;  his nephews, Sean McMasters, Corey (Portia) McMasters, and Casey (Lauren) McMasters; his great-niece Regan; his great-nephew, Stephen, and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harry McMasters.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial visitation to be held on Wednesday, October 18 ^th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, INC- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 19 ^th at 11am at Pathway Church- 239 Braun Rd., Beaver Falls PA 15010.
