John Lanning, 69, of Patterson Heights, died Monday, April 11, 2016, in Rochester Manor and Villa.Born June 12, 1946, in Beaver, he was the son of the late Paul and Tressa (Stanley) Lanning. John was a self-employed electrician.He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Theresa (McDaniels) Lanning; a daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and David Anderson, Economy; a son, John Lanning, Greenville, SC; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Shelton Woodward, Ogden, UT; a grandson, Donaven Lanning; and numerous nieces and nephews.As per John’s wishes, all services were private.
