Obituary

Joseph Francis “Joe” Kraly, Jr., 74, of Beaver Falls, died on Friday, May 12, 2023 at his home.

Born on February 5, 1949, he was the son of the late Joseph Francis Sr. and Katherine (Pavlinich) Kraly.

Joe was a graduate of Geneva College and had worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (Penn DOT) for many years.  He was a member of the Sylvania Hills Baptist Church.

Joe is survived by his wife, Margaret (Hurd) Kraly of Rhode Island; his step-children, Brian, Mary, and Michael, all of Rhode Island; his sisters, Barbara (Viscuso) Hatfield of Florida, Catherine Smith of Beaver Falls, Dorothy Mayer of Illinois; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Kraly of Ohio; nephews, William, Daniel, and Nathan Viscuso, Jason Smith, Samuel Kraly, and Joseph and Paul Mayer; neices, Marlo (Viscuso) Van Dresar, Jeana (Viscuso) Powell, Juliette Smith, and Rachael (Kraly) Stidd; several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Kraly, and a brother-in-law, William Viscuso.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 18th from 6-8PM at the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton.

Joe will lie-in-state on Friday from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM at the Sylvania Hills Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joe’s name may be made to the Christian School of Sylvania Hills Baptist Church.
