Joyce M. (Kinter) Steffen, 83, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at AdventHealth, Daytona Beach, FL, following a brief illness.
Born on September 13, 1938, in Cherry Tree, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold "Huggy" and Emily (Feely) Kinter.
Joyce was a Registered Nurse throughout her career after retiring with many years of faithful service. She and her late husband, Paul, were integral parts of the Beaver Falls Elks Lodge. Joyce was also a member of the Beaver Falls Turners.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Steffen; and a daughter, Penny Mineard. She is also preceded by 2 sisters: Joan (Jack) Elsman and Margie(Gene) Knopp.
She is survived by her daughter; Tracy Steffen; a brother, Harold "Sam" (Susan) Kinter; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM.
Entombment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joyce's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
