Julie Anne Sheffer, 60, of Patterson Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2024, in the comfort of her home.

Born on February 25, 1964, in South Shields, England, she was the daughter of the late Sydney Dickinson and Elsie (Johnson) Garbutt.  She Emigrated to Beaver County, USA in 2001.

Julie had dedicated her life and career to helping children and families in need, working as a social worker and case worker for over 25 years.  She served both South Tyneside and Beaver County Behavioral Health, making a difference throughout the world.

Julie was a strong, independent woman as well as a free spirit.  She was a lover of animals and spent her free time taking care of her beloved pets and later fostering animals in need of homes.  She enjoyed walking and hiking in nature and experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen.

Julie is survived by her children: Alexander Craig and Julie Curtis; her grandchildren: Jacob Curtis, Benjamin Curtis, and Lydia Curtis; as well as her siblings: Angela Martin, Sydney Dickinson, Christine Richardson, Anthony Dickinson, Paul Dickinson, and Tracey Higgins.

Friends will be received for a Memorial Visitation on Sunday, May 19 ^th from 1PM until the time of services at 4:45PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.
