June Samek, 97, of South Beaver Twp., died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born June 16, 1925, in New Brighton, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Olive (Smith) Gentzel. June was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed singing her entire life. Her voice will be missed by family and friends. She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Gary P. Samek and Darla; two daughters, Paula J. Ochs and Kimberly Jo Samek; a granddaughter, Jamie Ochs

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Samek and a brother, H. Jack Gentzel.

In accordance with June's wishes all services were private.

Private interment was in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
