Obituary

Karen L. (Rose) Shank, 73, of Chippewa Township, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic – Main Campus.
Born on February 10, 1949, in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Helen (Frederick) Rose.
Karen held numerous positions over her professional career and always had a loving smile for everyone she encountered.
In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, James A. “Jim” Shank on September 14, 2018.
She is survived by her children; Lori (Brian) Wainwright, Amy (Vic) Yarosz, and Tony (Sarah) Ritz; grandchildren, Alexis (Matt) Engle, Andy Ellis, Sam & Nick Yarosz, Sydney & Rooney Ritz, and Jacob Wainwright; her sisters, Sherry (Nick) Racz, Susan (John) Hoff, and Jody McCowin; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1-3PM and 5-7PM at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Chippewa Twp., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.
A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 7PM.
Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery.
