Obituary
Kathleen A. Francis, 75, of Koppel, passed away on Saturday December 14th, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family.
Kathleen was born on November 25, 1949, in Conneaut, Ohio, to the late Theodore and Zenobia (Komorowski) Grubke. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish in Ellwood City, Pa and was a booster for the Big Beaver Fire Company. She loved her family and pets and enjoyed shooting pool. She also loved being outside, fishing, gardening, and found a love for horses.
She is survived by her children, Kelli Leavens (Ron Mcintyre) of Pittsburgh, Pa, Stephani (Robert Sr.) Guidice of New Brighton, Pa, Cheri (Cliff) LeCrone of Petersburgh, Oh, John (Tammy Myers) Toikkania, Kimberly Brim of Fenelton, Pa, Marcie Freed of Deltona, Fl, and Richard (Motoyo) Franis Jr. of San Diego, Ca; 12 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Grubke of Conneaut, Oh; a sister-in-law, Nancy Grubke; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Richard K. Francis; a brother, Theodore Grubke Jr.; a sister, Delores Marker; and a sister-in-law Judy Grubke.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Richie Massioni for all his care over the last several years, along with Three Oaks Hospice.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 19th from 11AM until the time of Blessing Service at 1PM in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Ave., New Brighton.
