Kelly Lynne Detka, 55, of South Beaver Twp., passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 7, 2023.

Born June 16, 1967, in New Brighton, she was the daughter of Janet (Goehring) Bradshaw and the late Ronald Bradshaw. Kelly worked as a buyer for US Air for 14 years, she then became a teacher working the next 18 years, with her best years being the past 5 where she was a computer teacher at Saint Stephens Academy, making an everlasting impact on her students during her time there. Kelly brought humor and joy to those she encountered. Kelly was a selfless mother and wife who never hesitated to help her family with whatever came up in their lives.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Detka; her children, Ryan (Emily) Detka and Meghan Detka; and her sister, Kathy (Jeff) Michael.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 11 ^th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and Friday, May12th from 10am until time of services at 11am in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME – 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp.- www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com Pastor Larry Bettencourt will officiate.

Entombment will follow in Beaver Mausoleum.
