Obituary

Kenneth “Ken” Francis Pearce, also known as “Old Man”, 73, of New Brighton, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in UPMC Mercy Hospital with his family by his side.

Born on July 23, 1948, in Gaskill, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Delbert Walter and Margaret Frances (Dixon) Pearce. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, helping others, and listening to music.

Ken in survived by his daughters, Karen (Mike) Purkey, and Ginger (Pat) Hurst; son, Kevin Pearce; sisters, Gale (the late Jim) Mahon, and Darlene (Dennis) Stone; grandchildren, Kayla, Cameron, Emily, Lacey, Amber, Andrew, Levi, Lilly Bug, Colton, Isabella, and Delilah; great-grandchildren, Amelia Faith, and Olivia Grace; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Aretta Caplinger, and Hennrietta Altenburg.
