Obituary

Kenneth William Eakin, 76, of Darlington, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in UPMC Jameson.
Born on June 12, 1945 in Salem, Ohio, he was the son of the late Kenneth I. and Roberta (Kirk) Eakin. Kenneth was a quality control specialist in the steel industry.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Cathy (Dillan) Eakin; son, Kirk and wife Cathy Eakin; daughter, Kelly and husband Douglas Courtney; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Dylan Courtney, and Ashley Eakin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Eakin; and brother, Richard Eakin.
