Kimberly B. Yope, 68, of Midland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Heritage Valley Health System – Beaver Campus.

Born on July 29, 1956, in Waynesburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late David and Edith (Nopwasky) Burton.

Kim was a graduate of Penn State University and had worked in the steel mill industry and later the Electrical Union.  She was a talented quilter and loved to cook and entertain her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Joseph Yope, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Sandy Burton; niece, Lise and her son, Shane; nephew, Michael (Brenda) and their children, Danica and Everett; and her special friends Sally Karakmarkovich, Becky Croyle, Danny Zuppe, and Beth Demoratz; and her Canine Companion, Charlie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Burton.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 22 ^nd from 2-4PM & 6-8PM in the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 340 Third Street, Beaver.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23 ^rd at 11AM in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kim's name to the American Heart Association.
