Obituary

Lamont L. Berresford, 66, of Big Beaver Boro, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 4, 2021 at his residence.

Born on April 21, 1955 in Beaver, he was the son of the late Wesley and Phyllis (Murdock) Berresford. He was the best, loving, caring man in the world and we will be together again.

Lamont is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Maryann (Altenburg) Berresford; sons, Ryan Berresford and Scott Berresford; daughter, Amanda Berresford (David Mixter); grandchildren, Damian Southwick, Erin Berresford, Nicole Berresford, Mateo Berresford and Zoee Berresford; great-grandchildren, Jackson Howard and Mason Woods; sisters, Lana (Paul) Simpson, Lottie Williams and Teresa (Bob) Phillis and his best friend “Rex”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley “Jim” Berresford.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and Friday 10 am until time of service at 11 am in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.- 117 Blackhawk Road, Chippewa Township, www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com.  Reverend Keith Black is officiating.
