Obituary

Laura Faye (Fordyce) Everett, 60, formerly of Bradenton, FL, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Friendship Rehab and Health in Brighton, Twp.

Born in Rochester, PA on July 24, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Junior and Anna F. (Wilson) Fordyce.

Laura, while living in Florida, found great joy in the beauty of the Gulf Coast. She was always searching for the perfect seashell and cherished early mornings spent walking the beach, swimming alongside sea turtles and manatees, and taking in the peaceful rhythm of the ocean.

 Laura had a gift for crocheting and was rarely without yarn and a hook in her hands. She lovingly created hats, scarves, and afghans, sharing her handmade treasures with family, friends, and anyone in need of warmth. She also found happiness in creating beautiful diamond art and delighted in showing her finished pieces to others. Laura will be remembered for her kind heart, creative spirit, and the joy she found in both nature and sharing her talents with those she loved.

Laura is survived by her sisters, Theresa (Donald) Boots of New Castle, and Barb (Paul) Kofalt of Ohioville; her granddaughter by love, Jessica Rich of Bradenton, FL; and her nieces and nephew, Michelle Kofalt of New Castle, Sharon Clark of Franklin, and Nathan Kofalt of Beaver.

All services for Laura were private, the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES (BRANCH), 340 Third Street Beaver, PA 15009, was honored to care for Laura and her family during this most difficult time.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of Friendship Rehab and Health, especially Jaime, Kelsey, and Donna, for their outstanding care, kindness, and compassion.
