Lawrence ‘Rich’ Binkoski, 91, of Beaver passed away Wednesday January 26 in Beaver Elder Care, Aliquippa. He was born April 3, 1930 in New Brighton and was the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret Binkoski. Rich had lived in Beaver County all his life and had worked at Standard Clay in Fallston and later at Westinghouse from where he retired in 1994. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church Our Lady of the Valley Parish Beaver, had been the valedictorian at St. John Kanty Prep in Erie when he graduated in 1947, was an avid golfer and had been instrumental in setting up functions for the Times and Westinghouse leagues. Rich had served his country during the Korean Conflict as a Marine. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Helen Puppich Binkoski, son Larry (Dianne) Binkoski, Sarasota, FL, daughters Sue (Ron) Hustrulid, Costa Rica, Diane Binkoski, Redondo Beach, CA and Judy (Tim Granade) Podratsky, Atlanta, GA, grandchildren Justin, Daniel (Jessica) and Anna. Rich was the last of 17 children. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Valley Parish by Father Joe Uzar. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.  The Beaver County Special Unit will provide full military honors for Rich at the Church following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to SS Peter and Paul Church".
