Leatrice Joy Brightwell

Leatrice Joy Brightwell, 85, of Rochester passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 10 in Heritage Valley Beaver. She was born September 14, 1928 in Rochester and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Sarah Isenhour Dilworth. Joy loved to play bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Brightwell, a son, Billy Mecklem, sister, Jackie Acon, brother, Bert Dilworth, daughter-in-law, Kay Mecklem and a granddaughter, Betty Jo Finnell.

Surviving are her children, Vickie (Jerry) Gagne, Beaver Falls, Tonia (Les) Bailey, New Douglas, IL, Deena (Dave) Finnell, Monaca, Penny (Jim) DeBucci, Gerry, NY and Kenny (Julie) Mecklem, Pittsburgh, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, brothers, Don (Sylvia) Dilworth, Industry, PA and Wayne Dilworth, AZ and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends were received Monday 3 to 8 in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver where a funeral service was conducted Tuesday at 11 AM by Reverend Mark Boyd of the Park Presbyterian Church of Beaver. Interment followed in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
