Obituary
Lee Allen Groom, 71, of Patterson Township, passed peacefully at his residence.
Born in Beaver Falls on May 27, 1954, he was the son of the late Wayne and Edith (Martini) Groom.
Lee was a Lifetime member of Ambridge District Sportsman Association, the Coraopolis Beagle Club, PA Trappers Association and the Imperial Beagle Club. Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed trapping and black powder shooting. Lee loved being outdoors and being with his grandkids and family. He was also a longtime member of Painter’s Local 530.
Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Kimberly (Gardner) Groom; his children, Jesse Groom and Hanna and Dennis Welch; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Wesley, and Waylon; his brother, Gary and Susan Groom; his mother-in-law, Ilene Gardner; his brothers-in-law, Albert, Harry, Jeff, Todd, and Eric; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his son, Joshua Wayne Groom.
Friends will be received on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 3-7PM in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road Beaver Falls, PA 15010. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home the following morning, November 21, 2025, at 10AM.

Very sorry to hear of Lee’s passing. We worked together many years ago making popsicles at Waites in Patterson Township. I remember him as a kind soul. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the family, worked with Lee numerous times when I was a contractor. I’d get him work and he’d get me work. I was just thinking about him a couple days ago, possibly on the day he passed.
