Leo "Slick" Wisbith, 83, of Ellwood City, formerly of Koppel, died Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in Heritage Valley-Beaver.

Born December 9, 1939 in Chewton, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Veronica (Jaskolka) Wisbith.

In his younger days, Leo enjoyed going out on his boat and riding his motorcycle with his friends. As he aged, he spent his time playing cards both online and with his friends at the Hungarian Home in Ellwood City, PA where he was a longtime member. He also loved his cats and spending time at home with his wife and family. But most of all, Leo liked being left alone (mostly because he "didn't know what anyone was saying").

He is survived by his wife, Helene (Fidura) Wisbith; his daughter, Trinda Anne Wisbith; his granddaughter, Trilene Rachelle Wisbith and her father and sister, Kevin Mann and Kristen Nicole (Christopher) Wharry; his brother, Alex Wisbith; his nieces and nephews, Terri (Glenn) Marshall, Vicki (Cliff) Beyant, Melissa (Ray) Yerace, Clarissa (Ed) Schrantz, and Derek Dengel; his brother-in-law, Larry Dengel; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Bell; his brother-in-law, Gerald Bell; and his sister-in-law, Rosalind Dengel.

Friends will be received on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 3pm-8pm in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME- 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com, where a service will be held on Friday at 1pm.  Rev. Lee Bittner will officiate.

Beaver County Special Unit will meet in Locust Grove Cemetery- 1412 Brighton Road, Ellwood City PA 16117 at 1:50pm to perform full military honors, after which time the interment will take place.
