LeRoy G. (Lee) Brocard, 95, of Beaver, passed away Monday April 6 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Brighton Township.

He was born November 20, 1919 in South Heights and was the son of the late Frank and Martha Brocard. Lee had lived in Beaver since 1965, was a graduate of Aliquippa High School and Duquesne University, had helped build LST’s in Ambridge before enlisting in the Navy, was a retired Industrial Engineer from LTV ( J&L Steel) and later worked part time for Cold Metal Products, Campbell, OH. He had been a member of the Elks, St. James Masonic Lodge #457, J&L Men’s Chorus, a golf league, J&L bowling league, was a loyal Pirate and Steeler fan, all around handyman and had at one time been a little league coach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, August and a sister Naomi.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Brocard, a son, Jeffrey McCreary, Bradenton, FL and a daughter, Jeanne Kenney, Columbus, OH, 3 grandchildren, Chad, Kristine and Ryan, a nephew, Henri Burgess and family, Ambridge and a niece, Francine LaHue and family, TX.

Friends will be received Friday from 4 to 7 PM in the Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver.
