Linda Joy Carpenter, 72 of Chippewa Twp., passed away surrounded by her family on April 13, 2023 in her home.

Born January 21, 1951 in Beaver Falls, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Roberts) Mills.  Most important to Linda was her faith.  She dedicated her life to serving Jehovah God and was baptized in June of 1981.  Linda was active in sharing her faith in Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ, and the promise of a resurrection to paradise.

Linda loved traveling, camping, fishing and spending time with family. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and opening her home to family and friends.  She was known for her great sense of humor and the kindness she showed in caring for others. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Carpenter of 53 years and her three children John (Rebecca) Carpenter of Belleville, MI, Melissa (Rick) Ceyba of Chippewa Twp, PA, Jamie (Greg) Taylor of Chippewa Twp, PA.  Also, her siblings; Sherry Smilek, Patricia (Lynn) Gelles, Kim Henry, William (Nancy) Mills Jr., David Mills, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday April 15 ^th 4pm to 8pm at the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home-117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp-www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com. A memorial service will be delivered by Paul Kimmel on Sunday April 16 ^th at 2pm at Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home.

Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the Beaver Falls Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for their support and encouragement, along with the Allegheny General Hospital and AHN Hospice for the loving care Linda received.
