Obituary

Louise Marie Kwasniewski Kunselman, 75, of Monaca, formerly of New Sewickley Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 4, 1944 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Frank Kwasniewski and Harriet Kwasniewski Gromacki.

Louise was always a help to her family when they needed her. They were her world. She loved to wake up to music, crochet, decorate cakes, sew, do crafts and go to the casino with her husband. Louise loved to decorate her house and tree for Christmas.  She will be missed by many.

Louise is survived by the love of her life for 55 years, John H. Kunselman; 2 daughters, Karen (Anthony) Gaydosh and Kristin Stevenson (Jim) Unterburger; one son, Kevin (Becky) Kunselman; 8 grandchildren, Tanner Stevenson, Marissa (Rich) Casoli, Brandon (Amanda Hartge) Gaydosh, John and Arizona Kunselman, Skyler Richards, Kory Ours, and Denym Trowbridge; 5 great-grandchildren AJ, Rooney, Dallas, Nikko and Baby Gaydosh; a sister, Christine Hightower; sister-in- law, LaGene Sinclair; 2 brothers-in-law, Gary (Gig) Sinclair and Robert (Judith) Kunselman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Stanley Gromacki; 2 sisters, Aurilia and Eugenia; 2 brothers, Robert and recently Frank;  3 nieces, Hope Hightower, Joyce McWilliams and Renee Sinclair; 4 nephews, Frank and James McWilliams and Randy and Danny Sinclair; her mother and father-in-law, Peg and Harry Kunselman; her stepfather-in-law, Willis Zahn; three brothers-in-laws, Frank McWilliams and Ron Sinclair, Jerry Harris; and 3 sisters-in-law, Kathleen Sinclair, Vonnie Kunselman and Leah Kwasniewski; and one son-in-law ,Dave Stevenson.

A celebration of Louise's life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Heritage Valley-Beaver ICU and staff that took care of Louise for the wonderful care, especially her nurse Karla Elias.
