Marcey Blasche Mohrbacher, 88, of Vanport passed away Tuesday February 16 in Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls.

She was born May 24, 1927 in Rochester and was the daughter of the late Peter and Florence Reith Petrus. Marcey was a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Vanport and a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver.

Surviving her are her husband, Walter Mohrbacher, a son, David (Sally) Wenzel Blasche, Cinncinnatti and, step-son Gary (Charlene) Mohrbacher, New Brighton, 2 daughters, Jeanne Marie (Sam) Ricci, Ellwood City and Kathleen Ann Schwarz, Monaca, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver by Father Robert Miller. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Monaca. The Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver is in charge of arrangements.
