Obituary
Margaret A. “Peggy” Rimoldi, 92, of Darlington, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Lakeview Personal Care Home in Darlington.
She was born May 24, 1928 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late William and Annette (Sutherland) Winters. Peggy was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She served many years as a Eucharistic Minister and CCD teacher. She devoted much of her time to church and community activities such as spaghetti dinners and Meals on Wheels. Peggy enjoyed long walks around Darlington and beach vacations with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Rimoldi.
Peggy is survived by her six children, Vicki (Ed) Morgan, Susan (Joe) McCaw, Phillip Rimoldi, Judy Wagner, Guy (Patti) Rimoldi and John Rimoldi; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four sisters, Rosemary (Dewayne) Kirschner, Karan Winters, Marilyn Dobich and Rhae (Glenn) Leslie.
Friends will be received on Monday from 3-8 PM at the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Rd., Chippewa Twp. – www.gabauerfamilyfuneralhomes.com, where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 9:30AM on Tuesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Monica Catholic Church with Fr. Kim Schreck as celebrant.
Private interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
